Apple Prints

We talked more about the letter "A". We learned that apple started with an "A". Since Trinity loves to paint so much, I decided we would make apple prints to reinforce our letter study. First, we cut the apple horizontally. This makes a cool star shape in the middle.

Next, I poured some apple colored paint ( red, yellow, and green). Trinity dipped her apple halve into the paint, and began stamping her paper. It worked better if there wasn't so much paint. I just try to remind myself that it is all about the process, and not the finished product! The great thing was - this project made her smile. I like that! Now we have another "A" project to add to our alphabet book.
